DC/Northern Virginia Voter Mobilization
Please join Jews United For Justice and Virginia New Majority from 2:30-6pm on Sunday, November 2nd, 2008 as Get Out The Vote in Fairfax, VA. The event is part of the voter mobilization part of Righteous Indignation's activities this Fall. In keeping with the goals of RI we have partnered with Virginia New Majority, an organization that educates and organizes Virginians in support of social and economic justice; particularly immigrants, African-Americans, tenants, workers, youth, and low-income people.
After the event we will have an optional post-canvassing discussion about Jewish values and the issues this November. If you are interested in attending and possibly carpooling to Fairfax or have any questions please contact Hal Steinberg at hal@jufj.org
