The Righteous Indignation Project

A JEWISH CALL FOR JUSTICE

REFRAMING THE ENVIRONMENT AS A JEWISH COMMUNITY PRIORITY

Margie Klein will give the dvar Torah during the preceding Shabbat service, and will then lead an interactive text study after lunch on Judaism and the environment, studying three Jewish frames through which to view environmental protection.  The group will explore how speaking from a Jewish (or interfaith) perspective might strengthen our environmental advocacy work, particularly by voicing environmental protection as a religious priority in the 2008 election.
