Labor in the Pulpit/ Bimah/ Minbar

RI Milwaukee participated in Labor in the Pulpit, an interfaith event that took place over Labor Day weekend to raise awareness in our congregations about worker's rights and social justice in general.  At Congregation Beth Israel, RI Milwaukee spoke about local social justice issues in the context of Re-eh and presented several opportunities for social action in Milwaukee over the next few weeks.  Specifically, projects taking place during the Fighting Poverty with Faith Week of Action were highlighted.  RI Milwaukee was able to gain valuable exposure to more of our community.
